Our Priorities
Strategic Goals for 2008-2011
These short and medium-term initiatives for the 2008-2011 planning period will propel CRC forward in attainment of our vision.
Needs Assessment
The core values of engagement, justice and adaptability require that CRC be vigilant in monitoring changing community conditions. CRC will create a formal process that staff can use to conduct an unbiased, comprehensive needs assessment. This assessment process will be thorough and adaptable. It will allow the agency to properly assess needs and incorporate community feedback to make decisions regarding program planning and development. CRC will consider the use of an outside agency to assist in creating a needs assessment process.
People Resources
CRC will recruit, retain, and support the highest quality staff, and will work to ensure the agency has appropriate staffing levels. This will be accomplished through continual needs assessment, staff recognition, recruitment, training, professional development opportunities, and appropriate compensation.
Financial Position
CRC will continue to manage short-term finances, while evaluating and exploring ways to establish long-term financial stability. This will take into account the changing landscape, the economy, and sources of funding through grants, planned giving and one-time campaigns.
Branding
The agency will enhance its visibility through the creation and promotion of a CRC brand which will ensure that the community recognizes the name, services, and quality reputation of the CRC.
Facilities
CRC will create a well-thought-out facility plan. It will encompass our current and future needs and will include specific strategies for funding and implementing the space.
