Clintonville Quest supports CRC

Organizers have announced the date for the 2016 Clintonville Quest — the fourth year for the community scavenger hunt!

The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 20. As with the first year of the Quest, it will take place the same day as CrestFest.

A great group of sponsors has signed on to make this the biggest and best Quest yet. Don’t miss out on the uniquely Clintonville fun!

The Clintonville Quest returns on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014!

The Quest is an amazing race-type scavenger hunt where teams compete to locate checkpoints, complete challenges, and race to the finish line.  The Quest is intended to be a celebration of our wonderful community.

One hundred percent of the registration fees from this event benefit the Clintonville-Beechwold Communitiy Resources Center (CRC), which offers youth, senior, family, and material assistance programs.  Please help give back to your community by participating in this fun event!

Nearly 100 people participated in this year’s inaugural event, raising about $1,600 for the CRC as well as awareness about the agency’s work in the neighborhood.

Here are the winners from the first Quest: 1st place: Mary Gruber + Jason Cervenec; 2nd place: The Schroeder Family; 3rd place: Erica Hoard and Jason Karatsoridis; Best Costume: The “Fearless Fellraths” Family; and Top Family Team: The Ogden Family.

Many supporters stepped up with prizes and-or to offer their locations as stops for this year’s event. The Quest is coming to Clintonville, and the CRC will be the benfeciary!

Several local residents are organizing a scavenger hunt that will take participants to some familiar — and some not familiar — locations right here in Clintonville.

The aim is to learn some of the secrets of Clintonville, compete for great prizes, and have fun while doing it.
