Pumpkin Patch surrounds CRC with seasonal color, spirit
The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center was surrounded by the sights, sounds and even smells of the season Saturday, when it hosted its 30th annual Pumpkin Patch.
From fresh apple cider to karaoke to visits from Columbus Zoo animals and more, autumn was in full bloom Oct. 20. Many families brought home free pumpkins, too, in exchange for a food donation, while others bid on special carved jack-o-lanterns or purchased creatively painted mini-pumpkins donated by the Clintonville Arts Guild.
Here are some photos from the great event, which brought in nearly 1,000 food items and hundreds of dollars to support the CRC’s Choice Food Pantry.
