Third Thursdays return to CRC this summer

The popular Third Thursdays series, presented by Wright-Patt Credit Union, returned on May 18, with a great lineup of music, food trucks and cold beer from Lineage Brewing!

This is the third summer for the neighborhood gatherings, which take place on the parking lot in front of the Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center, 3222 N. High St. The party starts at 5 p.m. and runs until 9.

This year’s opening night featured music from The Ransom Band, and a food truck lineup that included Blu Olive, the Tasty Good and Kooky’s Cookies.

All proceeds benefit the CRC’s many programs to serve the neighborhood, including its Choice Food Pantry, Senior Supportive Services, kids Club afterschool and summer programs, Kinship Care, Village in the Ville and more.

Along with Wright-Patt, the series receives substantial support from UnitedHealthcare, Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, Lineage Brewing and Music Sponsor Music Go Round.

Small businesses which have signed on as Neighborhood Partners for this year’s series are The Boomerang Room, Sherwin Williams Clintonville, Virtue Salon, Snap Fitness, First Merchants Bank and Derek Voytovich – Edward Jones.

The rest of this summer’s schedule features:

June 15 — Funky Brewster

July 20 — Wednesday Wine

Aug. 17 — Greezy Bullets

Sept. 21 — The Newlands & Friends
