Kids Club 3 gets tied up in project

Kids Club 3 has been a busy group this winter, including participation in a fun project that will be heading to a faraway place.

The group of elementary school students, who meet at Columbus Mennonite Church, were invited to participate in the church’s Knotting Party.

Kids helped decorate clothe squares that would be added to a quilt and sent to refugee camps in another country!

The theme was “fresh produce” and farmers markets, which Jameson and Jane focused on with their creations pictured here.

The church is active in mission work, with several ministries involving refugees.

The CRC operates three afterschool programs, at Columbus Mennonite, Clinton Heights Lutheran and Maple Grove United Methodist churches. For more information, call 614-268-3539.
