St. Patrick’s Day brought chance to share some green

The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in snowy style Friday, March 17!

The event took place in the parking lot in front of Lineage Brewing, which also shares the lot with several other businesses including BonChon and La Patrona. Those three, along with Mama Mimi’s Take N Bake Pizza, Lavash Café and Aladdin’s, generously supplied food samplings at various times throughout the day.

Live entertainment that day featured fiddler Bethany Dwinnel, as well as cold brew from Lineage and lots of Irish fun — all for a $15 cover charge that includes one free brew.

Visitors were encouraged to grab a full meal at any one of those great partners, while donations for the CRC’s programs will be accepted throughout the day.

The event raised more than $2,300 for CRC programs and it could not have taken place were it not for the help and support of dozens of volunteers. The CRC is grateful to everyone who helped make the day a fun one, despite the frigid March weather!
